Lisa VanCoillie

As a Financial Client Associate - Operations with Benjamin F. Edwards & Co., Lisa is responsible for handling paperwork, providing quotes, executing check requests, wire transfers, transfer requests, and literature requests.  She enjoys interacting with clients and helping them with their service needs.

Prior to entering the financial services industry, Lisa taught school for over 20 years in the Fox Valley area. During this time, she realized her passion for helping others and discovering opportunities to meet people’s needs.  She started a program for children with disabilities, an after-school homework club, and Girls On The Run, which empowers young women. She utilizes her organizational skills by helping clients with their service and administration needs. 

Lisa started her financial services career at Merrill Lynch in 2021 and in 2023 she accepted a position as Financial Client Associate at Benjamin F Edwards & Co.  Lisa says, “I chose Edwards because I feel like it is a firm that really puts clients first and treats employees as family.”

In 1997 Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University and in 2003 she received her Master’s in Education from DePaul University.

Lisa is originally from Michigan and came to Chicago for work.  From there she migrated to the suburbs to better suit her growing family.  Lisa currently lives in Batavia with her 2 children.  Her son Patrick attends Marmion Academy and her daughter attends Batavia High School.  In her free time, she enjoys being with her children, watching them participate in their various activities, being active, and reading. She also enjoys volunteering with local shelters, assisted living facilities, and food pantries.
